I Love Praag and I Love Krakow is a young Dutch, English, and German tour operator that offers guided walking experiences likened to "walking through an open-air museum" in Prague, Krakow, Brno, Cesky Krumlov and Bratislava. We are a club of experienced local guides—many with more than ten years leading tours and backgrounds at the largest city tour companies. Founded from a love of these European capitals, our team left larger operators to create a more fitting, engaging approach and to take on an interesting new challenge in sharing local history and stories.

What is the background of your tour operator team?

We are a young Dutch, English, and German tour operator formed by a club of guides who share a passion for these capitals. Our team was created out of that shared interest in showcasing the cities.

How experienced are your guides?

Many of our guides have more than ten years of experience leading tours in Prague, Krakow, or Bratislava and have worked for the largest tour operators in those cities. This long experience brings deep local knowledge to every walk.

Why did your guides start I Love Praag and I Love Krakow?

They started the project because they love these European capitals and wanted a different approach to guiding. After feeling out of place at larger operators, they embraced an interesting new challenge together.

De gids Alaa deed een aantal stops aan die we anders niet hadden tegengekomen. Zijn uitleg was kort. Door er zelf naar te vragen wisten we dat hij niet afkomstig was van Praag maar er wel woont. Er was weinig interactie met de groep. Voor de toer start even elkaar voorstellen is altijd leuk zodat je dan weet waar iedereen vandaan komt

We hebben einde van de middag met huig een tour gedaan. Hij heeft alles goed verteld en veel achtergrond informatie gegeven. We zijn bij veel bezienswaardigheden geweest (bijv. De Charles brug, de kerstmarktjes, universiteit, de klok, de markt van de beste typische koekjes en nog meer). We konden alles vragen en hij had overal antwoord op. Echt een aanrader!

Onze gids Julka was zeer goed op de hoogte van de geschiedenis van Praag, werd ook met veel enthousiasme overgebracht. We waren een kleine groep dus alles verliep zeer vlot! Een aanrader!
